Lady Gaga is not included either. However, a Japanese woman is reportedly so incensed by seeing private items on her washing line appear on the very public Google Street View that she has decided to sue the company.

Google is being investigated for allegedly placing rivals' services lower in its search results, a move that would be an abuse of its dominant position in online search. The European Commission, the regulatory arm of the European Union, opened a formal antitrust investigation into the matter after receiving complaints from other specialized search providers.

Google Street View has been used to spot a car theft suspect, revealing that sometimes its ability to spy can be put to good use. Much like a CCTV camera pointed into your window that could catch the odd burglar. A caravan owner, who was not named, was dismayed to find that his 4-by-4 vehicle, which was parked just outside his caravan on private property, was stolen. Instead of pursuing normal avenues of inquiry the owner logged onto Street View.

Google TV already includes Flash Player 10.1 as part of the platform - it needs that to play everything on YouTube as well as many of the other video sites it turns into TV channels (and for the full experience when you're browsing web pages). That means if there's a Flash game on a web page, you'll be able to play it on the first version of Google TV.
