Software developer SlySoft is tempting the wrath of the Motion Picture Association of America with a software suite that allows users to copy DVDs onto almost any mobile device with a viewing screen.

CloneDVD converts movie DVDs into a usable format for devices such as Sony's PlayStation Portable, Apple's iPod Video, iAudio's X5, Creative Labs' Zen Vision, and Archos' AV 700 among others.
