A red faced student has been slapped with a €1,650 bill after using his mobile phone's data services to watch and download porn. The porn fan, hiding under the guise of "Jonathan Organ," got more than he bargained for when he opened up his phone bill from Irish mobile provider Meteor - to find the huge costs which had been racked up through data charges.

Software giant Microsoft has found a rootkit which is so nasty you will have to re-install your operating system to get rid of it. The Trojan "Popureb" digs so deeply into the system that not even the finest Volish spinners can dig it out. The only way to deal with it is to return Windows to its out-of-the-box configuration.

The Nexus Prime, previously known as the Nexus 3, is said to be the follow up to the excellent Google Nexus S. Google’s forthcoming Android Ice Cream Sandwich device is also said to be manufacturered by Samsung, just like the Nexus S.

The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has rejected 17 of 21 claims associated with one of the patents in Java that Oracle asserted Google had violated with Android. The patent in question is number 6192476, one of six Oracle says Google has stepped on.
